How do I enable biometric authentication on the app?

First, you will log into your Arrived account. Afterwards, going to Account > Settings icon > Security > Require Face ID/Touch ID/Fingerprint. This should enable your devices respective biometrics and prevent access to the application without validating these credentials.

How does biometric authentication work within Arrived?

When moving the app to the app switcher, or closing the app, you will be asked to re-authenticate using your devices respective biometrics. Arrived does not store any of your credentials on your device. We are simply refreshing the token when you authenticate using biometrics. As of this time, there is no way of using biometrics to log in.

What should I do if biometric authentication is not working on my device?

Go to your device System Settings > Arrived and ensure that you have Face ID or Touch ID enabled for your respective device.

Even if the Face ID/Touch ID settings are not enabled, the app will fallback to using your passcode used to open your device.

If this is already enabled, and the Arrived app is still not asking for biometrics or is not showing within your settings there are two routes to try.

  1. Restart your device, this shouldn't be required but better safe than sorry!

  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Arrived app on the Apple App Store

If none of these work, please reach out to the team at support@arrived.com!
